Guests
Importing guests from a spreadsheet or Eventbrite
Add your guest list using CSV import, Google Sheets, or direct Eventbrite sync.
Import from CSV
The quickest way to build your guest list is uploading a CSV file.
- Open Import from the event workspace sidebar.
- Under Import from CSV, select your file.
- The system auto-detects columns. Map the email column — this is required.
- Optionally map name, phone, and guest type columns.
- Review the preview, then click Import.
CSV tips:
- File must be UTF-8 encoded. Export from Google Sheets as File → Download → Comma Separated Values (.csv).
- Duplicate emails are flagged — you’ll see a summary of how many were added vs. skipped.
- You can choose Merge (add new, update existing) or Replace (clear list then import).
Import from Google Sheets
If your organization has Google Sheets import enabled and you’re an organizer:
- Open Import → Import from Google Sheet.
- Connect your Google account.
- Select the sheet and worksheet.
- Map columns the same way as CSV.
Import from Eventbrite
- Open Import → Import from Eventbrite.
- Enter the Eventbrite event ID and your private token (found in Eventbrite’s API settings).
- The system fetches attendees and their ticket types directly — no CSV export needed.
Merge vs. Replace
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Merge | Adds new guests, updates existing ones by email. No data is removed. |
| Replace | Clears the current guest list, then imports all rows from the file. |
Use Merge for ongoing updates and Replace when starting fresh for a new event.
After import
Once imported, guests appear on the Attendees page where you can search, filter by guest type, and manage check-in status.
