Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
1. Overview
AizuPass (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software for event organizers and staff to manage guest lists and QR check-in. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our websites and services.
2. Information we collect
- Account and authentication. When you sign up or sign in, our authentication provider processes identifiers such as email address and profile basics as needed to secure your account.
- Organization and event data. Content you add while using the product — for example events, guest lists, attendee records, check-in timestamps, and related exports — is processed to provide the service you configure.
- Technical data. Like most hosted applications, we receive diagnostic and operational data from servers and integrations (for example error logs, IP-derived metadata, and usage signals) as needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve AizuPass features you choose to enable;
- Authenticate users, enforce permissions, and protect against fraud or abuse;
- Communicate about your account, security, or service-related notices;
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests where required.
4. Service providers
We use trusted vendors to host and operate the service — for example authentication, infrastructure, email delivery, and database hosting. These providers process information only as directed and protected by appropriate contractual safeguards.
5. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention for specific datasets may follow settings or exports you control in the product where applicable.
6. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights connected to your organizer account, contact us using the email below. We may need to verify your request before fulfilling it.
7. Children
AizuPass is intended for businesses and adult organizers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. International transfers
If you access AizuPass from outside the country where our infrastructure is located, your information may be transferred and processed across borders. We implement safeguards consistent with applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
